Re: Fruity Stereo Shaper Manual It depends on your perspective, are you discussing the concept in general, or are you actually constructing and deconstructing MID/SIDE signals? Today I watched a video on youtube in which a producer used the Fruity Stereo Shaper.
I didn't understand what it was used for, it seems to me that it makes chords wider, but I don't know how to use it.
For those who didn't know it, there are parameters like:
- Left / Right Delay
- Left Right Dephasing
- Left / Right channel volume
- Right into left chanel volume and left into right chanel volume.
The producer added for example delay on the right (in ms) and dephasing on the left (in %)
But what's the point of that?

I've been using FL Shaper for a while but I haven't been able to figure this out: is it possible to remove the far left and right sounds and only use the dead center of a sample? I know how to take samples and push them to the outside, and how to remove one side of the audio and duplicate it with the other side, but I haven't been able to completely remove the far outside. the reason for me wanting to know is that I have a sample and in the center there is a nice chord progression but on the far left a right, and voice moves back and forth from far left to far right.
